What customers say?

“ Great authentic Belgian place. Food was really good and there's quite the nice atmosphere (and unique decor) with an owner that is quite the character and adds to the charm. Great desert too (Dame Blanche)! ”

- Yohan Trougouboff -

“ It is a cosy typical restaurant with very good food and the gentleman serving has a wonderful sense of humour (he will expect you to leave no food on your plate). ”

- Joao Sarmento -

“ I think the place gets a bad rep because of the owner, but to be hones I really liked the way that he entertained us with his jokes. Food was good but the main attraction is definitely the owner ”

- Luís Santos -

“ Where to begin... This is a typically surreal Belgian restaurant. The owner is the most outgoing person I've ever encountered. With the strong Brussels accent and the huge smiles coupled with sassy jokes. Don't go there if you are introvert. Food is OK, but clearly the atmosphere is why you would go there. ”

- Cedric Swaelens -

“ A hidden gem for sure. A bit loud as there was a big group having a wild evening while I was there, but the owner made me feel welcome and provided service fairly quickly. And the food was very good indeed. The vol-au-vent was really good. ”

- SAIGOPAL VASUDEVAN -

“ Absolutely fantastic. Lupulus Blonde beer is amazing. ”

- André Pimentel -

“ This place feels like a hidden gem. Almost couldn't figure out how to get in.. it's a push not a pull door with no sign on the actual door :-P I went for lunch and the place was pretty full. (I'm guessing all locals which is an even better sign) They have Wi-Fi so was using that to translate the menu, but went with the owners suggestion, Beef tar tar. Was sooo tasty. And the perfect portion. It would be great if the owner could make even one menu in English for us non-native speakers. (Terrible I know we're in your country) He does speak English and very approachable person. If you're in the area I would suggest giving it a go. I look forward to going back and trying something else. The place smells like "home" and the prices are reasonable for the quality and size. ”

- AMC -

“ You can’t find a more Belgian restaurant than this one! All dishes are home-made and delicious! Fred, the owner is lovely guy who’ll give you a warm welcome! Ask him to tell you the history of the restaurant! Attention you won’t park easily in this neighborhood, go directly to the parking! ”
